Celebrating Youth Leadership and Empowering Communities
First Citizens takes great pride in its commitment to excellence, youth empowerment, and promoting positive change in the communities it serves, and is pleased to support the Rotaract District 7030 Annual Conference. The event, which took place in Tobago from June 22nd to June 26th, 2023, was ideally linked with the Group’s values and goals of promoting sustainable development, professional advancement, and the well-being of people.
Around 250 Rotaractors from 50 Rotaract clubs from 17 nations in the Southern Caribbean/Northern South America region attended the Rotaract District 7030 Conference. The conference provided a platform for young leaders to participate in professional development programs, community service projects, camaraderie, and district success celebrations.
Committed to serving humanity, it is important to ensure that dedicated Rotaractors are effectively equipped to plan and manage impactful projects. These projects were designed to benefit the socially vulnerable, including children, the displaced, and the elderly, with the aim of creating social change and building a more inclusive society where poverty can be eradicated and equal opportunities prevail.
By joining hands with the Rotaract District 7030, First Citizens further extended its corporate social responsibility efforts throughout the region; another step in its journey towards a brighter future for all.
