First Citizens Celebrates Graduates of its Young Men’s Development Programme Cohort 2

First Citizens recently hosted the graduation and appreciation luncheon for Cohort 2 of its Young Men’s Development Programme (YDMP) at the Radisson Hotel Trinidad on Friday December 13 2024.
Launched in 2021, the First Citizens YMDP aims to equip young men with life skills, mentorship, and vocational opportunities, fostering positive masculinity and holistic development. This year’s graduates demonstrated exceptional growth and resilience, embodying the programme’s values.
Ms. Lindi Ballah Tull, Chairman of the First Citizens Foundation, highlighted the Group’s unwavering commitment to youth development: “This initiative reflects our belief in the potential of our young men and the importance of creating opportunities for them to thrive.” Adding to this sentiment, Professor Emerita Patricia Mohammed, Chairperson of the YMDP, underscored the
significance of the initiative: “The Young Men’s Development Programme (is a testament to First Citizens’ commitment to empowering young men at critical turning points in their lives. By combining mentorship, work placement, personal development, and education support, the programme holistically equips participants with the confidence, skills, and opportunities to
succeed.”
